About Me

My name is Landon Arpin.

I am an amateur Videographer, Photographer, Writer, and Editor born and raised in Colorful Colorado!

I attended a summer semester at the University of Southern California where I earned a 4.0 GPA in their Film and Television production courses

Photography and Film have been my driving passion since before I can remember, starting out as an actor in my town’s local theater group at 9, and slowly moving to behind the scenes where I learned the gorgeous art that is Filmmaking, for years I would run around town taking pictures and videos of anything and everything, until I found the USC program where I made 3 short films, one being the “Hi Mom” project displayed above. After which I took some time off to recoup funds and then went right on to the next best thing. I started at Nexstar Media as a Production Technician, where I played a key hand in our live Broadcasts, whether I was running our robotic cameras, our audio boards, or just some teleprompting, I was always there making sure our broadcasts were industry leading! Learning and experience have always played big roles in my upbringing, thus why so many photos are of the outdoors, by no means would I say I am a master at what I want to do yet, but I would love to learn more about the industry that has always felt like home, I’m always open to new perspectives and will always put all my effort into any project that comes my way!

My goals for my career are to see and feel all that this industry has to offer, become a better writer and videographer. I hope to someday soon work on my own web-series and hopefully own a small production company to go along with it!
