“The Pez Outlaw” Review

The choice of Steve Glew as the subject for this film was a strategic move by the filmmakers to

undercut the norm and give insight to another side of not just the Pez collecting community, but the

collecting community as a whole. Glew, with his peculiarity and unconventional approach towards the

Pez collecting scene becomes a sort of lens through which the film can explore the eccentric world of Pez

enthusiasts. The film deliberately side-steps the predictable choice of featuring a prominent figure like the

“Pezident” to showcase the everyday passion of a seemingly ordinary collector.
